Provides Mental Health and Substance Abuse outpatient services for adults and elderly.
A variety of Drug and Alcohol counseling is offered on an individual basis, family, group and court ordered requirements. Domestic Violence counseling is also offered along with a prevention program which provides trainings, workshops, activities and presentations on Substance abuse, Meth, Suicide and Violence. Casemanagement services include intakes/assessments, referrals, home visits and facilitating admissions for in-patient treatment, residential treatment and out of home placements. Telepsychiatry services are also available.
Provides nursing and education in the home, school and community.
Nursing services do not include home health nursing services such as dressing changes, wound care or IV antibiotics. The Public Health Nursing priorities address communicable diseases, maternal and child health, children with special needs, diabetes, health promotion and disease prevention and immunizations.
The Office of Health Education components consist of Community health education, School health education, Patient education, Public relations and Youth development. Presentations include the areas of Alcohol and Drugs, HIV/AIDS, Dental Health, Diabetes, Self-esteem, Child Abuse and Neglect, Cancer, Domestic Violence and Health careers.
The San Carlos Apache Healthcare Campus consists of five buildings situated on a 50-acre site.
The outlying buildings are Behavior Health, Dentistry, Public Health, and EMS. The hospital portion of the project utilizes the new chronic care model reducing wait time of the patient by bringing individual care disciplines to the patient.
Dentistry is a state of the art office using new technology such as digital x-rays, advanced diagnostic equipment, and intra-oral cameras.
Comprehensive family dental care for toddlers through seniors including: Regular cleanings and checkups, Periodontal needs, Fillings, Crowns and bridges, Root canals, Oral surgery, and same day emergency appointments.
EMS provides emergency medical care and non-emergency medical transportation services for patients with medical appointments.
The San Carlos Apache Healthcare Corporation consists of a 184,000 square feet Ambulatory Hospital.
The campus consists of five buildings situated on a 50-acre site. Departments within the hospital are emergency, imaging, physical therapy, laboratory, podiatry audiology, administration, dietary, pharmacy, labor and delivery, 15 patient beds and procedure rooms.
